Back from Atlanta

Back at my computer after our sojourn to visit Kath’s parents (with a stop along the way to see mine as well) and am hard at work on two projects: A “Fantastic Four” original novel, and a “Sandman: Year One” one-shot.

Also, a tip of the hat to board denizen Garrett Sims who tipped me that Amazon.com was running a mad sale on Garman GPS devices. I picked up the exact model that navigated us so adeptly to Georgia and back, knocked down a whopping 67% off retail. I love post-Christmas sales.

    Is the Sandman: Year One project a Marvel title or a DC title (featuring the Golden Age hero)?

  3. With Spidey 3 coming, and PAD being a Marvel exclusive (more or less), I’m sure it’s a Marvel title. 🙂

  6. For a minute there, I was boggled at the idea of a one-shot devoted to Morpheus’s first year in that magical bubble prison…
    I tried to find a picture of The Endless as the vaguely anime children, but failed… but wouldn’t that be about where their Year One would be? 😉

  10. Um, don’t you have an exclusive deal with Marvel that prevents you from working for the Distinguished Competition?

    I’m moving to a new state and have been in the market for a good portable GPS to help me get around.

    I’d imagine the Sandman in question is the one who’ll be in the upcoming Spider-Man movie, doncha think:)

    Does this FF novel spin off from the regular Marvel Universe, from the cinematic canon, or does it fit in with whatever Marvel prose stuff is floating around, as that old Byron Press stuff had its own canon clearly split off from the Marvel Comics canon… (well after some time it was clearly its own universe)?
