Very clever film with a potentially sad message at the end, depending on whether you’re an optimist or a pragmatist, I suppose. It reminded me a little of Wall-E.
What a wonderful video. I liked the ending too, regardless of what the visitors to that video have posted. Yeah, a happy ending would’ve been fine and predictable, but I commend Kirsten Lepore for not going that route. Whether she was going for some deep meaning or just picked an ending arbitrarily, it works just as well as a happy one, perhaps more so because it makes more bold statement: That sometimes, no matter how two people (beings?) try to make a relationship work, it just isn’t enough. Sometimes people are two different, or separated by barriers too vast to make it work.
I wonder if Ms. Lepore is an animation major/aspiring animator, or just an amateur dabbler?
What it reminded me of are all the B.C. strips where messages are floated across the ocean.
Nice.
That was sweet. And impressive.
Why must these awesome shorts end so sadly?

Until a pop-up ad (that I couldn’t remove) appeared and ruined the last minute (couldn’t see the ending!)
