    1. Golly, you mean he didn’t magically change the stance he’s had for 15 years?? Wow. 😉

    2. Better yet, he’s replaced all of the laser blasters with flashlights. Han shone first!

    3. Dunno about blue-ray, but you do know he’s planning to reissue the films in 3D?

  1. Oh, waow. My nipples are tingling in anticipation. Scuse me, I’ll pop in my worn VHS copy of Empire’s theatrical release now.

  2. I can’t wait for Motorhead day on Sunday… the Eighth of May, the Eighth of May!

  3. This afternoon, I asked a co-worker what the date was.
    .
    “The fourth,” he said.
    .
    “Of what?” I asked.
    .
He gave me a quizzical look. “Of May,” he said.
    .
“May the Fourth be with you,” I said.
    .
He groaned, and I promptly put it out of my mind.

Later, I stopped at my comic shop, where in addition to picking up the latest issues of Ruse and Sigil, I bought myself a Tie Fighter. Still giving no thought to the date.
    .
Then I went to the library to pick up some books I had on hold. A storm trooper and Darth Vader were there. I asked one of the librarians why, and she mentioned May the 4th.
    .
I suppose that’s one explanation for why they were there. Me, I think that with layoffs and salary cutbacks in the Empire, both Vader and the storm trooper were looking for other employment opportunities.

Ruse and Sigil were two of the titles published by GrossGen comics (and the latest incarnations, published by Marvel, have the old CrossGen logo). I particularly liked Ruse and hope the revised version will be around for a while. I read that this may be a mini series, but even if it is, maybe an ongoing series will follow.
