I’ve been asked if I’m going to be selling copies of the trade paperback of “The Camelot Papers” at Dragon*Con.
Yes and no.
I have a limited number of uncorrected proofs that I’m selling as collector’s items. They are significantly more than the on line price of $15.99. So if you want to obtain autographed trade paperback copies at the list price, I suggest you purchase them from either Amazon.com or createspace.com.

Sadly, even a massive Gamer geek like me can’t make it to Dragon*Con. However, I already have my copy of THE CAMELOT PAPERS, and reviewed it at the Armchair Critic http://thearmchaircritic.blogspot.com/2011/08/peter-davids-camelot-papers.html and at Amazon.com (same review as at the AC).
So, PAD, did you ever learn/get to play SUPER MUNCHKIN? I love all the MUNCHKIN games, and I bet there’ll be plenty at Dragon*Con!
.
Never have, no.
*Grumbles something about the unreachability of con’s in general and goes back growing thundercloud above head*
Why are they called trade paperbacks? Isn’t it a paperback novel?
Trade refers to the dimensions of the book, not the content. It’s trade paperback as opposed to mass market.

And let’s just get this squared away right now: No, if you come up to me at Dragon*Con and ask if “The Camelot Papers,” or ANY of the material I’m selling, has Garak in it, you are not funny or clever. Just annoying.

I suspect there’s a reference in there I’m not getting. Admitting that I haven’t yet gotten TCP, let alone read it (though I intend to do both) … can you explain that?
.
Tim, read this. All will become clear.

Sorry, Tim, I just kind of figured everyone read the reprint of the Ireland trip.

Whoops; I just hadn’t gotten to it yet. It makes sense now; thanks.
