We’re going to start posting the But I Digress… archives, in more or less chronological order, here in the weblog. (Why? So the search engine can find them– and let’s face it, the colum was a blog before anybody even thought of the phrase.) Shortly thereafter, we’ll have a link page for all of them as well and we’ll just keep adding to them.
If there’s no article, it means we don’t have it, so we ask the Intrepid But I Digress Staff (IBIDS, aka you folks) to send in copies so we can post them here.

Hey Peter-
It will be cool to see the old BID’s up here, but what about the current ones? I’m not a big comic reader anymore, but still a fan of your novels, and these “I’m not going to write about it here, but over in CBG” comments are kind of annoying. Even if you ran it with a couple of weeks or a month dely, to still encouage people to buy the CBG, at least there will still be here and I would like to see them up here. Just my thoughts.
Also- I was reading through some of your old post in this blog, if you Editor thinks that “dead of knight” sounds like a vampire novel, does she think that all the people who did and are picking up “knight life” picked it up thinking it was a vampire novel??
Patrick
I have to agree with Patrick, that I’d like to see the newer “But I digress”-columns here, best would be short time after they were published.
The reason for this desire of me is that first, I am from Germany and would have to spend a lot of money to order this Comic Buyers Guide only because of this one column which I am interested in, and there it comes to the second reason, I do not read comics and so would have to buy this magazine only because of this column.
Because I am always interested in what my favorit author Peter David writes. I would like to see the column online. This is my wish and it would be nice if it would be possible to fullfill it. Thanks.
Can you repost the entry. All I see is a big BID sign. 🙁
I am really looking forward to rereading the column that had the letter about the hotel room soap. I had the issue of CBG at one time and passed it around to everyone, but then it was lost in the shuffle. I can’t find that letter anywhere, so if/when that column gets posted, count me in as being a satisfied reader.
It’s not that I am not satisfied now, but I really need to read that one again.
Great!!! I like your site!!!
